Does PerfumeLive sell imitation brands, old and or used products?

PerfumeLive does not carry or sell any imitations, old, or used items. All of our products are the same quality you would expect to find at the leading department stores. Every item for sale on perfumelive.com are 100% authentic, we do not tolerate any counterfeit products, knock-offs or imitations.

Are the product sold on PerfumeLive site real/genuine?

At perfumelive.com we guarantee 100% authenticity on every product we sell and we absolutely stand behind our merchandise. These products are supplied by authorized Dealers and reputable resellers vendors whom we have established enduring business relationship with over the years. We want that every visit to our site must result in a pleasurable, convenient and expedient experience that is second to none.

Does perfumelive.com provide the contact information for the designers and manufacturers of the various fragrances products?

PerfumeLive does not provide this particular service.

What is a New In Box?

This is New product is original company box with all seals from manufacturer. This is not a tester. This product is brand new in box and has never been used or sprayed. This is a sealed and an unopened authentic fragrance. This product comes in its original packaging, just like you would buy in any department store.

What is a tester?

Some of our items are available as testers or unboxed. They are the same exact high quality products but without the fancy packaging and/or cap. Testers usually do not come in a box or with a cap, while most unboxed items come with the cap. If you are purchasing fragrances for yourself or just do not need a box for the products these items will offer great savings.

Product Care

What is the difference between perfume, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne?

This is the difference of ratio of fragrance oil and alcohol. Higher the concentration of fragrance oil stronger the fragrance will smell.

The highest concentration of fragrance oil in women's fragrance is parfum, then eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne (or cologne) and with lowest concentration is perfume deodorant. Women's fragrance in general called perfume.

The highest concentration of fragrance oil in men's fragrance is eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne (or cologne), after shave and with lowest concentration is perfume deodorant. Men's fragrance in general called cologne.

Why some fragrance last longer or smell different on different people?

There are many reasons behind why fragrance acts differently on different people. People have different body cemetery, which make fragrance act differently on everyone. Also it's the way we smell fragrance, human have hundreds of genes which recognize different smells, everyone have some of these genes active and some inactive. That's why people smell every scent definitely and for different duration.

How can I make my scent last longer?

Fragrance lasts longer on some people than on others but in order to maximize the effect, apply fragrance right after you shower. Also by layering the fragrance with body lotions, shower gel in women and after shave and deodorants in men will increase the length of fragrance on your body.

Applying fragrance on cloths will take away its uniqueness which you get by applying it on skin.

Why does fragrance contain alcohol?

Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.

How can I keep my fragrance from going bad?

Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows, as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a longer shelf life. We also recommend keeping fragrance in fridge to increase its shelf life.

What are the Suggested Seasons?

This suggestion is based on feedbacks provided by customers and shared for information and entertainment purpose only. You are free to wear any fragrance anytime. Though our retail sales we receive various feedback from our customers about how certain fragrances smell difference in different weather as your foods habit, clothing habit and body temperature changes.

What are Similar Items suggestion?

Based on interaction with customer in retail store we have learned which fragrance can provide overall experience of other fragrance. Based on that information we have suggested similar fragrances. This suggestion is based on feedbacks provided by customers and shared for information and entertainment purpose only. You are free to wear any fragrance anytime. Based on interaction with customer in retail store we have learned which fragrance have maximum impact on what purpose of wear. For Ex, a party fragrance should be which last long and smell stronger as your fragrance may stand out among other fragrances. Please note that you must use your own discretion when buying fragrances for your purpose as each person have different body and each environment is different.

Why is my Payment declined / order cancelled.?

For your own security, you won't be able to submit an order on PerfumeLive.com if the billing address, credit card expiration date and/or security code doesn't match your credit card statement. in some cased if we find that member have violated our T&C or payment did not clear our security flag we cancel the order and provide full refund in form of original payment.

Merchandise Stock

How are users notified if an item is out of stock?

Occasionally the in stock products are found to be defective, damaged or due to type error. We notify customer via email or phone about their status.

Sales Tax

Do PerfumeLive collects sales tax?

PerfumeLive collects sales tax for orders shipped in New Jersey, based on the New Jersey sales tax rate. In all other states where sales taxes are collected, it is customer's responsibility for paying local and state sales tax due on their purchases.

Is perfumelive.com safe to shop?

We use industry-standard secure sockets layer ("SSL") authentication to guarantee the confidentiality of online transactions made on our site. SSL authentication and encryption of the information that you send to us over the internet help protect your online transaction information from third party interception.

Is my credit card or payment information stored in the site?

To ensure protection of cardholders payment information we only store last four digits of credit card number are stored on site, rest of payment information like expiration date and card security code (CVC) are not stored on our site.

Order Processing

What is Order Received And Under Review?

When the order is received, we review each order to verify payment authenticity and security as well as compliance with our Term of use. Once that order have cleared all security flags we send the order confirmation email.

What is order confirmation email?

Immediately after you have successfully placed your order with PerfumeLive, you will receive an email that contains information regarding the details of your order. The order confirmation email is your receipt that can be printed for your records. The order confirmation email includes your order number (the same number that appeared on our web site after successful submission of an order), the details of the products and corresponding prices, any credits or promotional discounts, taxes, shipping charges (if applicable), your ship-to and bill-to information, and the ship method.

Order Status, Canceling & Modifying Orders

Before you place your order, you can view the contents and the total amount in your shopping basket. you can also view any additional service and their charges and fees. Once your order has been submitted successfully, the order will be in a "confirmed" status. Your order is then "shipping," entering the shipping process almost immediately. The only time that you can cancel or modify your order is during " confirmed " status. Once your order has been " shipping" it has entered the shipping process and no further changes can be made.

Shipping Address

Customer make sure to provide precise address including any Unit No. or Apartment Number, correctly spelled out Street Address, City, State, and Zip Code information. Remember to spell out the city to which you are shipping the order. Many times abbreviations, misspellings, and other typos can result in errors, delays or returned package. Any package being returned due to error in shipping address provided by customer will be considered as Cancellation Returns. Please see our Return Policy for cancellation retunes. charges and fees.

Shipping Options

What are available shipping methods?

After entering the "ship to" addresses, you can select a shipment method for your order in shopping cart. Delivery charges will be applied according to your selection. You can also refer to shipping table in Shipping Policy.

Can my order be delivered on the weekend?

Most residential order are delivered Monday - Saturday. Currently No Sunday delivery available, once this options is available we will update our shipping policy.

Can I have my order delivered to a post office box?

We offer PO Box delivery where available by USPS.

Does PerfumeLive deliver to international destinations?

Due to nature of classification of Fragrances as Hazmat material we can only shipping these goods in Continental US. We will update our shipping policy when we add this feature.

Does PerfumeLive deliver to apo/fpo/dpo military addresses?

Can I choose to have my order delivered to Multiple shipping addresses?

At this time, we can only ship to one address per order.

Do Order arrive in multiple shipments?

You will receive notification via email when your order is being split into multiple shipments. There is no additional shipping fee when your order is split into multiple shipments. Alternately, we may combine multiple orders into one shipment.

How long will it take before orders are processed and shipped?

Majority of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed.

All orders are ship Monday - Friday, excluding Federal Holidays within the united states. Orders must be placed by 3:00pm eastern time (et) to be processed on the same business day otherwise it will be processed the next day.

Once packages have left PerfumeLive's premise, who has the responsibility for product delivery?

Once merchandise has left our premises, the responsibility for safe delivery is with our carrier . On behalf of our clients, perfumelive.com will seek recourse from the carrier in the event of loss or damage and subsequently refund all missing or damaged products.

Once packages have been delivered, who has the responsibility for product?

Customers are responsible for package, once carrier tracking number indicates package as delivered. Customer is responsible for Theft, Damage to package by abuse or misuse, after delivery.

How can I track my order.?

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail. The majority of our orders are shipped within 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. The e-mail will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site. To track the order, click on the tracking number located near the bottom of the e-mail.
